The cool thing is, as soon as you decide if the movement (UNITAS/ETA/Asia clone) shall have sub seconds or not, then you can have a different pocket watch for (let‘s say) every day.
How shall this work?
1. decide witch type of dial you like
2. install the needed movement (with/without sub seconds) but don’t screw in the dial screws
3. fix the movement on the case
4. close the rear lid
5. put 3-4 sticky dots on the movement
6. install the dial + hands (you don’t have to cut the dial feet)
7. close the front lid
… and that’s it
Change the dial+hands:
open the front lid and repeat steps 6&7
This is only an interim „funny“ solution. This shouldn’t be a permanent state.
By the way, if you decide to use sub seconds you can install a dial from a 6498 movement on the 6497, too. It fits perfectly.
