I’ve got some of those to tackle as well, has anyone put up a step by step tutorial for the best way to deal with it safely?

Thank you, it will be good in the end, I will post photos.. At the beginning I was thinking about aluminum, it would be much easier, but in the end I still decided on steel

Thank you  This is the first attempt, it will be fine in the end.. The second attempt will be a little smarter because the steel is quite hard for manual processing..

Yours is looking good! The last time I tried to make a buckle from stainless it looked like a mangle soda can tab, no hope of ever being true again. I think my next endeavor will be to make a simple roller buckle with tubes and screws, from brass or something softer. I did have success reshaping a big buckle I got from Leszekgiulloche on eBay.

Got this dial & movement from a pocket watch with a mangled case. Waiting on new hands that have been stuck in customs for a couple weeks but threw it together for a test fit.

Debating on if I should add white lume dots on the dial. Also going to change the back to single dome sapphire and hoping to add a bull’s eye superdome on the front.
