Quit a bad habit.

Post by Yoda »

Since I quit smoking I realise that it is easy to quit, but extremely hard to not start smoking again.

In my case it is all about getting rid of an old habit, not smoking cigarettes and inhaling the smoke.

I make a mark for every day without this, 65 days and counting today.

I quit a few years ago, e-cig helped me reduce daily nicotine progressively.
I am still tempted every time I smell a cigarette though, I think I will never get totally rid of this

I said to myself one evening in February: "I think that this is my last cigarette" and since then I haven't smoked.

I do of course think about it, but I am definitely not tempted to smoke. It was a bad habit, that is all and it is thousands of SEK I haven't spent since.

Congrats!

My last cig was at 14th February of 2017. It’s hard my friend.

For my first months I avoid be near parties and dinners with too much wine I knew if I attend any I would smoke a cig for sure. By the end of the summer things became easy and stop thinking on cigarettes.

Ain’t an easy path, but you already had way more hard adversities in your life. If there’s someone that can do this it’s you.

I was also lucky that at my inner circle, all of friends and relatives stop smoking, so no cigarettes in parties.

Today I’ve no problem at all and stop smoking was one of the best decisions I took in my life. Transferred the expenses to watches

I quit smoking when I read Allen Carr's book. and immediately after reading. but it took me literally 6 months. after which he started smoking again. and it all started with just one cigarette. "Well, what will be bad if I smoke one cigarette - I thought. I haven't smoked for 6 months. that was my fault!
