It shouldn't be my priority at this time but I start to work on my Fiftyfive Fathoms project. Base on the Rduane homage, I disassembling all the parts, remove the glass insert (without success to keep it safe), start to polishe the case (with the pics I see that there is a lots of work). And I tried to remove the bezel...one more time witout success.
My plan his to be able to swicth the bezel for a wider one, if I able to turn a new one and success to remove the stock bezel
Firstly, I'm going to make a new plexi insert, looking for a acrylic glass in 29,7mm, built a custom dial and later custom the caseback to get one in two parts.

I removed the bezel on one of those a few years ago, it's press fit on the click thing and there is a retaining spring in between that usually breaks.

Put a hell of a pressure with a case knife and it will come off. The flat side of the knife against the case so you don't damage it.

Thanks M, I'm going to try the knife, I just afraid as I completely wrap and destroy my last attempt on a similar construction (PAM024 style)
