Hi,
Many thanks.
You’re right, the raffle crown with 0,9 mm thread.
The adapter I use is 1.2 - 0.9 mm. So it fits to the stem and the Raffles crown.
Regarding the length: yes, stem and adapter have to be adapted, shortened etc. You have to do this step by step by adapting both is small steps.
But at the end no issues.
Nice
What are you working on now?

Re: What are you working on now?
This is the best and the simplest solution in this situation, of course. Although keep in mind that 0.9mm stems/adapters are typically not used with 15 lignes+ (35mm+) manual winded movements. The Achilles' heel or weakest point is 0.9mm part. Most likely it shouldn't break but it's better to apply not too much efforts when winding and especially when screwing the crown in.

Re: What are you working on now?
I asked because I try to use cheap crown from Alix, I had to reduce a lot all the parts (crown thread, adapter and stem) to reach the right lenght, however the crown tube is still to far for my taste, Raffle one should be a better option for my budget plandj57 wrote: ↑January 4th, 2023, 2:19 amThank you for your valuable input as your experience here is much greater than mine.Belkin12 wrote:This is the best and the simplest solution in this situation, of course.
