Here we go. Unfortunately the wind up pin came out yesterday, but it's with an 83-year old watch maker for repair.

I will change the buckle to brass, nickle plated and aged a bit.
Ah yes, the stem can sometimes be loose and slip, it's the loose screw.

Looks familiar by any chance did you got this watch from a UK seller on ebay?

Still liking the "hide your wallet" post - lol!
I got my watch back, even though the spare parts have not arrived yet. The watchmaker applied some magic, and it's working well.
I am just cautious that it will jump again, winding her up or setting the time. But for now: All good for Christmas!
As for hiding my wallet: Yes, I bought one from a forum member, and left a deposit for another.
It's like a virus, and my excuse is: I live in two different countries and need two off on either end of the world
My mate in Venice is busy "diving" for remaining 3646. He showed me his palace once (Nov 2000) and I would not be surprised if his aunt has a few in one of the drawers. (I can dream)
Enjoy the festive season, and don't wear your watch on the right if your are right-handed. I bumped mine a few times!
