Do both balances have to swing perfectly in sync for this movement?!
I actually don't know if they swing in sync, I have never had such a movement on my bench.

Cortland Concord large 8-day movement, about 50mm. Very clock-like movement and not very well made IMO.

DOXA twin barrels 8 day movement, quite an interesting one. Very clock-like inside but reasonably well made. Slightly on the big side.

Smallest 32.8mm Hebdomas movement, also sometimes comes with sub-second. Only seen on Hebdomas trench watches.

Obviously far from vintage, though I do think the P2002 movement in my 368 is beautiful.

Panerai did a great job of their first in-house 8 day movements. Although I think they have lost the plot a bit lately…..

Three barrels, oh dear. 😂

Lost the plot lately? Not only lately, me tinks....

Simple watches with pretty standard movements for a premium price threw me off completely. I am not a fan of any of these new movements at all, they don't float my boat at all.
