There are also a bunch of similar dials floating around, for Squale 1553.

Also the hands. Maybe they are using the same movement.

No fishy, this were made by DPW an Italian watch maker of the Eighties, some were made by them some on order from others,
they did order some from Bretling in an OEM order.
Its the same company who made the nice vintage Cantino diver you posted a while back.
Also these were not Issued watches ,they were tribute watches to the Armed forces units of Italy ,or in some case get together orders for people servicing in these units bought by them on their own.

Yep, I read that as well. What I was referring to as fishy are the Breitling crown and caseback

I might be wrong on this , but I remember (oh I wish I could remember more clearly) reading that back in the day Breitling would supply all the parts for watchmakers to assemble. Some of these watchmakers branded the watches with their own unique brand.

Good reading.

So the Pluton are the most interesting but a pain in the ass when it needs service.

Thanks

There was Bretling Aerospace model that used a similar ETA display Quartz ,i dont know if it can be found today, but it might work.
I had a Tissot watch with the same movement back in the late 80's.
