What do you think of Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GG-1000-1AC3R? Nom solar, but meets most of my (unconscious) watch preferences

1- overengineered
2- impractical for everyday wear
3- will annoy my other half
"Ah, I'd love to wear a rainbow every day,
And tell the world that everything's OK,
But I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back,
'Till things are brighter, I'm the Man In Black."

Mellons That's the one mudman I don't own [emoji28]

But it's nice and comfortable. The only thing with mudmans is that the buttons are hard to operate (since they are protected against mud)

This is a GA, similar in sizeImage

#3. Set it for hourly time signal. Drives my other half crazy. :)

It's an odd thing with the Brits they have MOD marked watches which very few of ever get issued to military personnel. I have a Casio tough solar that a family member gave me after it had done it's tour of duty in Kuwait,Iraq, Afghanistan etc. Not an issue number on it. In reality most watches used by the British military (including special forces) are bought on Amazon.

I have a couple of 5600s. One that I use when mountain biking, the other is solar and syncs the time so I use it to set my "real" watches :)

My Boot-neck nephew told me "you only get an issue watch if you can't afford anything decent"
