Help building a watch with an ETA 7001

Post by bmsm »

HI,

I want to build a watch for my father birthday. He doesn't like big watches so I thought about the ETA 7001. I also have an AP 2003/1 that isn't much smaller I maybe it could be used in the same case.

The problem I see upfront is getting a custom dial and hands, and for the AP longer stem for the gold crown I've.

Does anyone here could help me sourcing this?

Thanks in advance.

As for dial, I recommend a custom dial from pvirus, Belkin12 or Athaya.
For stem I would browse eBay and windingstems.com
