I like this very much. Im wondering if we can add a chamfer to the lugs ala seamaster to reduce its bulk slightly...

Just for the sake of it, I suggest the following:
We get a base watch, complete, from a factory; get some engraved brass dials and/or hands from this forum (Belkin12 , pvirus, etc) and then we get them finished by members of this forum (norskguru88, myself, etc).
Users could either mount the dial/hands by themselves or send it to a builder of the forum.
I offer free paint jobs for these hypothetical dials.

that sounds good so far, the most important thing is the case, the design and who can make it. as I see it to get a dial, hands would be easy cos we have a lot talented dial maker here as you already mentioned. the case and design is the biggest problem nowEmilio wrote:Just for the sake of it, I suggest the following:

Yes, that's why I think getting a complete ready to buy watch from a factory would be easier.tafari wrote:that sounds good so far, the most important thing is the case, the design and who can make it. as I see it to get a dial, hands would be easy cos we have a lot talented dial maker here as you already mentioned. the case and design is the biggest problem nowEmilio wrote:Just for the sake of it, I suggest the following:
