Possibly, but as far as I know they are always marked with the number from Zenith. I doubt that an "ordinary" ETA649X reworked for/by Zenith would leave Zenith without the caliber number even if the finish obviously is a bit unusual.

Google was not very helpful either and that is already a warning.
Found though one picture on one japanese site and the movt appearance matches the one that I am interested in.
The "H" in "ZENITH" equally displaced in a way on both pictures. That makes me think it could be real...

That's a 6497, not a 6498. And it's real. I've seen others through the years.
