@Yoda that is excellent advice! I do have an old Seiko I would like to practice with. Unfortunately, I ordered a cheap kit off Amazon before I found this forum. I did look at Bergeon first but the tools were a bit pricey, are there other brands you recommend?

@big eebee and @Mellons thank you! Until I found this forum, I never imagined that I can build one of my dream watches!

I went eBay back in the days, picked up tweezers and stuff which I dressed to my liking.

Dumont #5 is my favourite tweezer for picking up and putting back, 2,5 magnification is sufficient for most work.

I think Yoda had a point there with eBay.
There are many tools on sale from closed down watch shops. Have a careful look at the condition of the tools and you may be lucky and get good brand tools with much life left.

Actually finding a builder is proving a bit harder than I would have imagined. Is there a shortlist of builders who have room in their schedules for a few vintage builds?
