Panerai 3646 Kampfschwimmer

Post by Tom427 »

Good afternoon everybody,
I got hooked on the 3646 Kampfschwimmer because of its simplicity and been reading Jose's site and all auctions and reports up and down until I passed out - multiple times ;-)

What confuses me, according to one of - what feels like a million lists - 1.345 of #3646 had been made from 1940 to 1944.
(watchlounge?)

Where are they?
Were they all made with anonymous dials and mostly received (fake) Radiomir dials later? Is it worth searching for fake dials and hope a real Kampfschwimmer is behind it?

Cheers,

Dom

Answer from José:

Anonymous dials were introduced in 1944 so basically everything from 260400 onwards was anonymous and mostly used by German forces.

On the bottom of the sea, still attached to the diver...?
Thanks for your feedback!

So my theory that some of the 475 anonymous got other dials which made them a while back more valuable "holds no water"?
475 is quite a bit more than the 60 which are known.
