Ah yes, the stem can sometimes be loose and slip, it's the loose screw.

Still liking the "hide your wallet" post - lol!

I got my watch back, even though the spare parts have not arrived yet. The watchmaker applied some magic, and it's working well.
I am just cautious that it will jump again, winding her up or setting the time. But for now: All good for Christmas!

As for hiding my wallet: Yes, I bought one from a forum member, and left a deposit for another.
It's like a virus, and my excuse is: I live in two different countries and need two off on either end of the world ;-)

My mate in Venice is busy "diving" for remaining 3646. He showed me his palace once (Nov 2000) and I would not be surprised if his aunt has a few in one of the drawers. (I can dream)

Enjoy the festive season, and don't wear your watch on the right if your are right-handed. I bumped mine a few times!
