the movement was originally designed as a skeleton movement! wow! both front n back are beautiful! this is porn!!!

Extract from Hodinkee,

The Caliber 115 wasn’t simply "skeletonized," (a process where superfluous material is removed from the mainplate and bridges). Instead it was initially conceptualized as a skeleton movement, meaning no material has actually been subtracted – it was manufactured with open space in mind. The Caliber 115 is the focal point of the watch indeed, but Oris didn't stuff this movement into an existing case. A titanium case comprised of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium components was designed to seamlessly wrap around the new movement. It doesn't use a traditional movement retaining ring set up – instead, the case is constructed in multiple pieces, and tolerances are exacting enough to allow the 44mm case to be assembled tightly around the movement. There are no chamfers, bevels, or polishing on the movement, either. It’s mostly galvanized, lending a raw industrial feel to the watch.

A 36mm Big Crown Pointer Date was my first "good" watch and I still have it and enjoy wearing it.

I almost bought one of these, but I was US Army......not Marines. Very cool watch with adapters for a zulu strap. Prices on these are creeping up.

I have had this since 2001. And when I joined the homage club I decided to chop it off and bastardize it to make a Rollie bubbleback. Now I reverted back to keep it as original but with the heavily modified sleek case.

Got this one as I love a watch with a bit of heft.
Big piece at 49mm but being titanium it’s not too heavy.
Super accurate and well made.Image

Very well made watches, I really think worths the money. I have the first edition of regulateur 42mm, titanium and 1000m, absolutely happy with, indeed it was my first high quality watch and one of the unsaleable of my box.
