Identify this pocket watch

Post by binbin »

From the same person who had the Tag Heuer I bring you this pocket watch to be identified.

The dial is interesting. No logo. Seconds look like they are hand written on.

There is some logo under balance, maybe you can take better shot of it?

Looks like a George Jenkins & James Green pocket watch made in London some time around the middle of the 19th century.

It might have been retailed in London but it wasn't made there. I'm not familiar with the maker of the movement but it's Swiss for sure.

binbin , did you pick this off the ground outside your home again? I see some telltale damage.

Online acquaintance from Montreal .
I bought a Rolex 514 movement off him and we kept contact.

You know I fell off my bike? My head kinda matches that dial. I had to pick myself up off the ground.
Quit being mean to me.

I do not have access to the watch. I will ask the owner for a better photo.

I believe he will be listing this on ebay. That is the reason for the questions. If someone here is interested, I can pass you his details.
