Apparently is identical to the Seiko 7T32. Maybe a swap is possible?

Looked all over the Internet for a new movement or a replacement, but no luck.

I hope that one of you guys have an idea, or know.
Yep, looks like not much out there. This is all I could find.

I was once in a similar situation, and I found a similar watch with the same movement but it took a lot of looking. Good luck.

I have noticed that and I am afraid that it will take a while.

There are many watches with Shiojiri, Hattori, Epson, Pulsar and Seiko marked movements out there, but I find it hard to butcher a good working watch just to save my own.

I get it. I actually butchered a really nice looking watch to get that movement but I wanted to fix my aunts watch so had no choice.

I have had this watch for almost 30 years and suddenly I forgot about the battery when it stopped working, embarrassing as I always tell others to be observant.....

My issue is that it looks new, cream dial and pristine condition, except for the movement.

Somal Canada has the Seiko 7T32 movement for $25cdn.

I've ordered from them in the past. I can get it and ship to you.

That would be great, thank you! As long as the movement is compatible with Epson, Hattori, Shiojiri, Seiko and Pulsar marked Y182B or 7T32.

I could be wrong, but I suppose that I could simply replace the electronic parts and avoid tearing down the watch completely.
I still have a low effect soldering iron from when I worked on electronics for bombs.
