Help needed with an oyster patent crown tube size

Post by davdew »

I have a Rolex oyster patent crown that needs a tube.

The crown shaft is 2.95mm diameter. I think the crown thread is thread is either M4.5 or M4.3mm. Hard to tell with verniers

Any information would be great.

Thanks 😊

The crown itself looks a bit battered, how about sourcing a set?

I think it may be the lighting ... it makes the crimping look distorted

that's a crown from about 1940's? ... is the spring in good shape?

The Crown is actually in pretty good shape. Lighting on the photo isn’t flattering.

The spring and clutch are like new.
