New gravers for my lathe. Walnut handles. Presently I only have 1/8 HSS tool. Will get a few higher grade 1/8 cobalt inserts.

Hello,
Today I relaunch an old project which was in standby. I was stop with a plexi seat issue. With this case the plexi seat is wider as the bezel opening. My initial plan was to not use gasket but it was impossible with vertical walls on the plexi. I start to try to shape a shoulder on the bottom of the plexi but it doesn't solve the issue I add to add a white gasket as the stock construction. As the stock one was destroy I ad to identify the right size and order it to cousinUK... I ordered 6 different size to be sure : the one is 355X1.25X0?4 HYTRELI-RING
I add to rework a little the shoulder of the plexi by hand...and I have to finish to polish the outside.

On the second hand I reshaped, polished and install the bezel pins and indices which were really destroyed by the dismounting...

After few hours in the fridge the plexi was ready to be press and seat perfectly
As you can there is identification mark on the bottom right lug...don't remember the issue but I like it.
I have to adjust the corners of the crown guard to fit better with the case...

Next step : dial painting and luming ( the hands are aged and ready)

What is it with the screw you marked? I would be more concerned with the screw looking off center on the winding wheel.

Of course, it is just the center part of the winding wheel, it has no practical purpose whether it is centered or not.
