I am puzzled:

How is the big calendar wheel moved?

Which is the uility of the upper part of the double wheel marked with the smaler arrow?

You are missing the intermediate wheel, it looks a little like a minute wheel. I turned it upside down so that you can see the pinion. Do you want one?

That is an interesting configuration, the calendar wheel is much closer to the center than normal. The one posted by the OP is over the edge and yours is a bit inside.
