SF 240 stem won’t move in either direction?

Thanks for weighing in Yoda

Update, I used a screwdriver to turn the slotted fulcrum of the pivot wheel and everything freed up and functions like in the video.

The screw retaining the pivot wheel was loose and turned out to be stripped. The hole in the mainplate looks stripped/damaged. It looks like everything still functions without that screw in place. Just looks terrible with it removed.

What are my options to fix?

By pivot wheel, I mean intermediate wheel...

I wonder if the wrong screw was used, it should have a portion without threads where the wheel rotates. The only option is to crimp the hole and cut new threads for the/a screw

The screw looked correct, as you described, thicker smooth shaft with a short, small OD threaded section at the tip.

It seems to work fine without it. How mechanically necessary is that screw?
