Yoda, is there a product in particular you reccomend for gold filling movement engravings? I want to do this myself on a movement and I want it to look like real gold gilt.

I have never done it before, but leaf gold would be what I would look for.

I had thought about possibly filling engravings with clear varnish like I have for lume, then dabbing gold leaf into it. Not sure how well it would work. There are also these lacquer crayon things meant for filling engravings. Not sure how close to gold it would look though.

In shops for painters you will find gold colour based on real gold.
Take care that the grainsize is small enough.
