Ladies and Gents most of you know me from the last forum but a lot of the new members probably won’t as I’ve been awol for a while.
Long time member of the original HF, had made a few builds nothing really as good as a lot of the guys on here although the Franken Rolex build (Rolex 6084)is probably my best build I’ve done and is one I strive to make better. Since joining my tastes for watches has changed from the Pams to the smaller vintage watches and I now have a love for vintage divers and also Calatrava and stepped cases.
Next/current project is a full watch design based on the vintage ZRC Grands Fonds and the Triton Spirothechnique, taking design cues from both but maintaining the vintage scale of around 38/39mm. It’s a personal project but will eventually create a thread documenting the process once I get to the appropriate stage.
That’s it for now, good to see this place getting back on its feet and looking forward to seeing how it grows and of course all the wonderful builds!

Good to see you here Parky. I've really gotten into vintage Divers as well. Looking forward to making a few down the road.

It’s currently in parts at the moment, chasing a gen movement for it but I’ll see if I can dig out the old pics from the build thread.Luminor wrote:Good to see you. Do you have picture of that 6084?
