"Rolex Zerograph" and "r0lex deep sea special" are winning.

That would imply sourcing a readily available watch and swapping the dial and/or producing a bezel.

This is getting interesting...
"Ah, I'd love to wear a rainbow every day,
And tell the world that everything's OK,
But I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back,
'Till things are brighter, I'm the Man In Black."

I know this may divert the ongoing discussion, but may I ask if there would be an interest to homage a H. Moser watch?

The most critical ingredient, the black dial paint, I would know how to come by. Of course, it would not be Vantablack itself, but Stuart Semple offers a very similar paint (https://culturehustle.com/products/blac ... aint-150ml). I have tried it myself and it is very, very, very black!

Here some photos of the Moser watch I have in mind. It is quite different to our standard fare here, but certainly a watch with which you will be instantaneously recognized by your fellow member at the airport ;)

Of course it should be in steel:

We could use the super black paint to make a unique dial for Emilio's design!

Just fine with me :D
Probably it has to be a sterile one.
So far I have not yet managed filling engravings without taking the paint off.
This is the trouble with those paints.Black, but a bit delicate.

I have my fair share of 47mm cases for my 7" wrist ... and I have always been a fan of those Ennebi Fondale cases

too large watches are going to exclude a great deal of members ... wrist size = bell curve :D

How about a titanium version in a more manageable 44 or 45mm size? What's the budget for this build? They sell those bronze case sets ... possible that maker can do a batch run of titanium in 45mm?

We have folks here that can make variety of dial flavors, 2pc or even old style Pre-V dials .. I've also seen some recent Titanium/damascus dials used in Rad cases (on the -bay).

We have access to all color and range of hands?

housing a cheap auto sweeping sec hand movement, or a manual wind with sweeping center hand?
