44 or even 42 ti mille would be a great project.

And tell the world that everything's OK,
But I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back,
'Till things are brighter, I'm the Man In Black."

I think it would be nice to come up with a new idea to protect the crown (without adding too much bulk to the case)....or have a crown that truly stands out.. still scratching my brain!

I have been contemplating that too. A lever? like the ones on a bike wheel locking system?

Yes a « locking » lever would be nice ; the bike idea is good!

heck ... regardless ... I'd like someone to make a run of 44mm Ti mille :D

these models are so thick. (think Kaventsmann) ... a 44mm case is adequate, and in Ti makes it easier to wear, friction lug bars, thick sapphire

Right now it's very geometric which is a cool look but I'd like to see some more organic elements and soften some of the angles.
Could you try Bombe style lugs that flow into the case?

Though it would be neat to design a new type of crown guard, I'm still a fan of no crown guard.
If the crown guard is a bolt on design than maybe we can make some midcases with screw holes and some without? We would also need two types of crowns though.

Have we considered case material? SS vs. Bronze?

check this out ... https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 21428.html

https://furitimes.en.alibaba.com/produc ... 5112OSjIYv

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 50fdMuiToN

are we trying to do something from scratch? what's the budget range we are talking about? what's going to make it HF special ... engraved caseback? dial?

I asked River if he could source those 47mm bronze and steel mille metri watches that he's selling in smaller 44mm titanium ... he said "nope!" :(

IMMO It would be easier to mod an existing watch. Making and painting dials. Plug and play.
