I think the @straps68's dlc buckes are great! I had a strap made for a 202a case with this buckle. I am really happy I made the purchase. It improved the whole watch for me.

They are nice yes,i only asked because i wanted a black one for a black dlc watch,Its hard to find a good dlc place as i heard from others and usually they ask for large volumes! They gray black ones are more close to Pre-v color wich was PVD ,

I might have been wrong on the coating acronym. Mine was gray/black pre v color.

Alou wrote: May 10th, 2020, 3:02 pm Thanks for the reply, can you also do black ?
Short answer: no, I can't.

Long answer: the place where the buckles were DLC coated said yes and the buckles are not actually black. A guy told me that it is because the steel is bead blasted... I don't believe him. I was unable to find another source.
I think the guy is right.
I made the similar experience when I had dials that Emilio blasted DLC coated. They turned out grey.

Interesting. Thanks for the info hako.

BTW, if your source is also coating dials. A highly polished brass dial results in an excellent glossy surface. It would be the perfect base for Cali builds.
