After years of enjoying vintage Panerai builds and slowly getting into gen military watches I finally took the dive and picked up my first gen vintage Rolex.
In the past I’ve bought my wife a gen 1930s cushion case Rolex and recently a gen linen Dial DJ as a “push present” for our second born.
This watch was also as a special commemoration for our second daughter.
To raise funds for this dream watch I sold off 10 watches of which some were builds and some were gen. Many of which I thought I would never sell.
But here it is now and boy do I enjoy the journey I’ve taken to get here.
Please enjoy some photos:

Heading for Rolex forum, eh?
I admit that I am a bit curious now, selling a few and buying one. Why not...

Thank you guys.
So nice to see some familiar screen names on here.
Yoda, it sure was an odd experience emptying the box out so much and replacing 10 watches with 3 watches.
As for heading to another forum though, no way!
HF and my friends here will always be the little corner of the web I call home.
