No need to remove the stem,
Remove bezel, then remove inner crystal assembly with a Jaxa tool. But it's a reverse thread so clockwise to loosen.
The stem has a collar with a screw in its 2 piece, but you don't have to move it you can remove hands chapter ring and dial from this position

You will find this helpful but as seiko dial feet are push in to the movement holder there is no need to disassemble the stem
